Linda Sokačová graduated from the Sociology Dept. at the Faculty of Social Studies, Charles University, where she focused on gender concepts, social movements, sociological theories and research. She specializes in family policies, equal opportunities and discrimination issues. In years 2000-2011 Linda worked for NGO Gender Studies (2007-2011 as Director). Since 2011, she has been working as a researcher.
Her recent projects include a study about access to healthcare in CR by Roma people and migrants from post-Soviet countries (commissioned by the European Agency for Fundamental Rights) and an analysis of migration trends in Northern Bohemia (Šluknov region) for the governmental Agency for Social Integration in Roma Communities. In Alternativa 50+, o.p.s., Linda is responsible for strategy planning and projects requiring expert knowledge of age management.

Equal opportunities and life-long learning expert
Eva Ferrarová has spent twenty years of her life in Italy. Besides studying at a university, she was actively involved in the Italian women’s movement.After her return to the Czech Republic in 1994, she worked for the Prague City Council as the Head of the Foreign Relations Department and the Head of Education programs.At the Prague City Council, Eva Ferrarová also ran the Working Group for Equal Treatment and served as a Job Discrimination Counsellor. Since 2007, she has also been cooperating with NGO Gender Studies as a lobbying expert. At this time,Eva Ferrarová is the coordinator of the national „Fifty-fifty – Respect Equal Opportunities“ competition for public administration departments, which is an award for departments which apply the principles of equal opportunities and gender sensitivity in their practice.Gender equality and ageism in public administration are topics of great interest to Eva, who specializes in implementing gender mainstreaming and gender budgeting in the work of public administration bodies. Since 2008, she has also been employed as the Coordinator for Gender Equality and Ageism Programmes at the Ministry of Interior of the Czech Republic.In 2011, Eva Ferrarová earned her PhD. degree at the Philosophical Faculty of the Charles University with a thesis titled „Gender, Power and Culture.“

Financial Manager, Education and Counseling Coordinator
Světlana studied publishing and bookshop management. In Alternativa 50+ she is responsible for financial management and the coordination of education and counseling programs. She has experience with education programs of Gender Studies and other NGOs. Světlana specializes in accounting and corporate finance.
